The western side of the lake is protected by the Valhalla Wilderness Reserve with its network of hiking trails, waterfalls, white sand beaches, snowfields and alpine lakes and meadows. Indian hieroglyph paintings thousands of years old are visible by boat.

The Whitewater Valley in Goat Range Park offers spectacular alpine scenery and excellent bear-viewing opportunities in their preferred grazing slopes across the valley.  [see Packages page]
